Stouffville has a unique position when referring to its geography. In both a cultural/social perspective and a physical perspective, Stouffville resides on a cusp of geographic boundaries.
Socially, Stouffville is bounded on the south by large urban areas of vast economic activity and cultural diversity. On the other, areas of uniform population bases and primary and secondary industry.
Physically, Stouffville sits on the edge of three major regions: the Oak Ridges Interlobate Kame Moraine, the Schomberg Clay Plains and the Drumlinized plains of the south, each offering its own unique identity.
