Probus Club of Stouffville

PROBUS is an organization with over 4,000 clubs worldwide and over 33,000 members!  In Canada alone, there are over 250 clubs with more beginning every month. Our members are active, interested individuals who have retired from professional and business careers. Membership in a PROBUS Club offers individuals opportunities to socialize, develop new skills and to contribute in any way they may choose.

The PROBUS Club of Stouffville began in 2014 and recently celebrated it’s 5th Anniversary. The club has grown to 170 members. In addition to our monthly meetings, where members can socialize over coffee, a changing selection of guest speakers provide opportunities to learn new things. As well our Social Convenors plan an active program designed to appeal to a broad range of interests.  Special Interest Groups such as our Book Clubs, Game Days and Card Groups meet regularly.

Throughout the year we also enjoy a variety of events, such as our Car Rally, Christmas Lunch, Summer BBQ, Day Trips, Theatre Outings, Luncheons, Appi Nights and much more. Something’s always going on!

The PROBUS Club of Stouffville holds its meetings the second Thursday of each month at the Royal Canadian Legion, 150 Mostar Rd. in Stouffville. We register anytime after 9:30AM, have a brief business meeting until 10:30AM, then break for coffee and conversation until 11:00AM. Following our social time, we regularly feature an interesting speaker.
