TEMAC Model Aviation Club

TEMAC is a club of radio control flyers of electric-powered model aircraft. TEMAC is a registered and chartered club with the Model Aeronautics Association of Canada. TEMAC leases a 3-acre field in Stouffville, Ontario (about a half-hour north of central Toronto) where our flying season is from early spring to late fall. Members are required to have MAAC membership/insurance, must have their “wings” or pilot’s certificate to fly their models without supervision, and are entitled to free instruction and training in order to learn how to fly and acquire their pilot’s certificate, or simply to improve their skills.

TEMAC is incorporated, and has club bylaws and rules. -acre field comprises our parking area, pits, and runway. There is a large area surrounding for flying.

TEMAC’s field (named ROGO Field) was founded in 2004. It’s large enough for any aircraft type from foamies to 1/4 scale planes, and pilots of all skill levels.

It is located west of Stouffville (see the map below). There’s usually activity at the field (weather permitting) on weekend afternoons. Wednesday evenings is student training. If you’re interested in dropping by to say hello feel free to contact us at contact@temac.ca. TEMAC is currently accepting new memberships and renewals.
